Martini Suite

700 Sq/Ft
King Bed
2 People

A view that will leave you shaken and stirred.

Within months of its opening in 1906, The Knickerbocker had become the center of life in New York. Rumor has it, the iconic dry martini (less vermouth, more gin) was created in The Knickerbocker’s ornate barroom by bartender Martini di Arma di Taggia for “America’s First Billionaire,” John B. Rockefeller, in 1919 and the drink quickly gained popularity and notoriety among socialites, politicians, and celebrities.

With a view of Times Square worthy of a toast, sitting elegantly in its 15th-floor corner perch, this legendary tale gives the Martini Suite its uniquely entertaining personality, stylish and sophisticated with a nod to this history. True to its nature, this suite also features crystal glassware from the Lismore Diamond and Lismore Diamond Essence collections by Waterford, a strikingly modern reinvention of the classic 1950s Lismore design and as timeless as the martini itself.
