The Ultimate NYC Father’s Day
Fathers are notoriously hard to shop for. And while it is easy to buy mom some flowers on Mother’s Day, it always seems a little more difficult to figure out a proper gift for dad. The Knickerbocker is helping to fix that this year, with the ultimate Father’s Day gift—a gentleman’s weekend in New York, complete with an optional helicopter ride over Manhattan.
Father’s Day at the Knickerbocker
Enjoy a craft beer tasting at St. Cloud, the Knickerbocker’s rooftop bar. Try four brews—from a local light-bodied ale to a hearty New England stout—with Times Square views.
Guests who book the two-bedroom Caruso Suite can take Father’s Day to the next level with a tour from HeliNY, a popular helicopter tour company founded in 1985 by socialite and philanthropist Topsy Taylor. Starting from the Battery, the flight will head north over the Hudson paralleling the city’s West Side until just north of the George Washington Bridge at 181st Street. Along the way, passengers will have views of One World Trade, the High Line, the Midtown skyline, Central Park, Columbia University, Grant’s Tomb and the Cloisters before turning around and flying south to the harbor. There, they’ll get an overhead look of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty before returning to the helipad.

Or, book the Father’s Day package (parking and daily breakfast at Charlie Palmer at the Knick included) without the helicopter tour.
