Celebrate Spring at The Secret Garden At The Knick
Spring has sprung at The Knickerbocker, and we’re celebrating the season on our rooftop with a Secret Garden at The Knick. Florals and greenery have taken over the Club Room, where visitors can enjoy an oasis in the heart of Manhattan.
The spring setup at our Secret Garden at The Knick
Walking under a wisteria-draped pergola, guests follow a path of slate stepping-stones to seating. Spring flowers in planters and a living trellis wall of green moss and flowers complete the bucolic scene.
Chef Charlie Palmer and Executive Chef Christopher Engel’s garden-inspired menu transports diners to the countryside. Standout dishes include the extra healthy Garden of Eden, a sampling of fresh vegetables from Union Square Greenmarket with unique spreads as well as the stuffed piquillo peppers, roasted over embers with goat cheese and charred corn. For dessert, the trio of handmade chocolate truffles comes in passionfruit, coconut and hazelnut flavors.
The spring setup at our Secret Garden at The Knick.Resident Cocktail Curator Eben Klemm created a brand new craft cocktail menu for the Secret Garden at The Knick as well. His springtime creations are the perfect refreshing drinks to cheers to the season with. Iris and Ivy is a floral blend of Elyx vodka, strawberry-infused Lillet, St. Germain and Aperol with a rose petal garnish. Rake, Shovel, Hoe is an herbier drink, with Botanist Gin, Irish whiskey, Lejay Cassis, fresh lemon and crystalized rosemary. All of Klem’s drinks are available both in the Secret Garden at The Knick and throughout the St. Cloud Social rooftop, including its three corner Sky Pods atop Times Square.
