NYC Après Ski comes to The Knick
This winter, no need to head to the mountains to enjoy ski culture. For the second year in a row, we’ve transformed The Knick’s rooftop Club Room into a NYC après ski lounge, complete with a fireplace and deer antlers. The cozy respite from winter weather provides visitors the opportunity to retreat and enjoy seasonal-inspired favorites from Chef Charlie Palmer and Executive Chef Christopher Engel, along with exclusive hot cocktails from Head Mixologist Steven Rhea.
Inside the NYC Après Ski Lounge at The Knick
Walk in through a white birch wood archway, surrounded by pines, and enter the candle-lit après ski lounge. A roaring fireplace warms the space, and guests can curl up in faux fur throws to get extra snuggly.
Of course, the most important part of an après ski lounge is what’s on the menu. Here at The Knick, we’ve looked to the mountains for inspiration. For sustenance, guests can enjoy alpine cuisine, including schnitzel, soft pretzels, and Austrian-style pancakes. Swiss-style raclette tables will also be available, giving visitors a hands-on culinary treat at our European-style NYC après ski lodge. (Not sure what raclette is? Read all about the dish, a cousin of fondue, here.)
And for drinks, stay warm with our new hot cocktails, including the Chartreuse hot chocolate, topped with a decadent wallop of juniper-infused whipped cream.
