FAO Schwarz
After famously shutting the doors of its flagship Fifth Avenue store in 2015, FAO Schwarz recently opened a 20,000-square-foot new shop at 30 Rock. Whether you have children or not, you’ll likely want to dance around the shop’s iconic floor keyboard, hit up the Build-A-Bear workshop, or check out the candy shop. Nordstrom Men’s Store
Seattle-based Nordstrom is hoping to have a big impact on New York, opening a huge new flagship for its women’s clothing in Midtown later this year. In advance of the women’s boutique, though, they’ve opened a similarly impressive men’s store on 57th. Expect a range of designers, including Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Comme des Garçons and Puma, in the sleek, multi-tiered store.
