Mother’s Day Urban Potting Class at The Knickerbocker
New York City comes alive in the springtime, as trees across the city bloom with millions of pink and white flowers and Central Park becomes a sea of pastels and soft green. And on Mother’s Day, the perennial (pun intended) favorite option is to give flowers.
This year, The Knickerbocker is going a step further with an urban potting class. After all, if you give a mother flowers, she’ll have them for a week. But if you teach her about flowers, she’ll have them for a lifetime.
We’ve partnered with Blondie’s Treehouse, one of New York’s top horticultural firms, for a two-hour class where participants will learn about spring flowers and how to care for them. They’ll enjoy complimentary mimosas and a light brunch, and walk away with newfound knowledge and even a new window box for their own homes. If you don’t have room for the plants, keep them at The Knickerbocker and we’ll send you photos as they grow.
