Join us in celebrating The Knickerbocker’s 109th birthday.
Opened on October 23, 1906, the historic Times Square hotel opened its Beaux-Arts doors to Manhattan’s most prestigious visitors. For the next fifteen years, it was “the” place to be for dignitaries, athletes and Broadway stars, who flocked to The Knickerbocker for extravagant parties. Prohibition hit the hotel hard, and it closed in 1921, transitioning over to office space for the nearly a century. We’re thrilled to be back this year once again as New York City’s premier luxury hotel, and cannot wait to see what lies in store for The Knickerbocker in the coming years. And of course, now that Prohibition is far behind us, let’s raise a glass and toast to The Knickerbocker.
