A Fine Dining Experience in Midtown NYC
Prepare to be dazzled by the entire culinary experience at The Knick as Master Chef Charlie Palmer redefines the standards of purity, quality and creativity typically found at Midtown restaurants. Guided by a passion for market-driven ingredients and vibrant, unexpected flavors, Palmer adds unique twists to his critically acclaimed Progressive American cooking to create unrivaled dining options at this luxury hotel in NYC. From the artisanal café fare at the lobby-level Jakes @ The Knick, to the hotel’s signature Honest American Cuisine served at Charlie Palmer at The Knick, to the perfectly balanced lounge menu and handcrafted cocktails on offer at the magnificent St. Cloud rooftop bar, hotel guests and New Yorkers alike will discover the legendary hospitality that made The Knickerbocker the most iconic of all Manhattan hotels.
Paying homage to the hotel’s historical moniker, “The 42nd Street Country Club,” dining venues are designed for both business and pleasure, each with its own individual personality and welcoming vibe.
Charlie Palmer at the Knick
With dazzling Times Square views overlooking Broadway and 42nd Street from an enviable fourth-floor corner perch in the heart of Manhattan, Charlie Palmer at The Knick brings together two of the most iconic names in hospitality. What is Raclette?
Raclette is a delicious semi-hard cow’s milk cheese best enjoyed in a relaxed and convivial setting. A dish indigenous to the snowy Swiss Alps, the cheese round may be gently heated and scraped onto a plate by hand or sliced and melted over a tabletop grill with small pans, known as coupelles. The savory fondue-like cheese is served alongside a variety of accouterments including cured meats, cornichons, and a selection of vegetables and sauces.
Traditionally, it is followed by a shot of Schnapps, making it the perfect way to warm up on the coldest winter days.
